If you are planning a home maintenance, building or renovation project, you may need the services of a professional carpenter.
There are a couple of options for obtaining obligation free quotes for carpentry and woodworking services.
Online or over the phone
It is now common for carpenters and similar building practitioners to provide quotes for carpentry services over the phone or via email, especially for smaller jobs. Some carpenters will be able to provide detailed online quoting, where you can provide all the details of the work required and also upload your plans and drawings, via a web form. A quote can then be provided to you via email, although a telephone conversation might be needed for some of the finer points.
On site quotes
For large jobs you may need someone to visit in person to provide a quote. This step may also be needed after the provision of an earlier online or phone quote, just to iron out all the details. You can have a carpenter visit you at your home or building site to provide advice and input, gather details on the spot, and then provide you with a written quote and recommendations later.
Quote bidding
A newer development is quote bidding – where you can enter the details of your carpentry job into an online form and submit to a services bidding site. Local carpenters who subscribe to the site then have the opportunity to submit bids to provide you with carpentry services. You can choose from which ever of the bids you prefer.
Obligation free quoting is the standard for the provision of carpentry services, you should have no trouble finding several businesses who can provide you with quotes free of charge or obligation.
